OK, so last night I got sleep

But I'm not ready to jinx the whole thing just yet. Let's just say that it was quiet and I didn't have to enter the second bedroom between the hours of 7:30 and 5am. Even then I was able to quell the *monster* for another 30min of dreamland. Simon loves to imitate monsters of all kinds and does so at the most hilarious (and appropriate!) moments. I'm wondering if he gets it from tickle "fights" w/ DH or from TV (Monsters, Inc., Sesame Street, Maggie & the Ferocious Beast, etc.). Regardless, it's very cute.

Getting ready for the move has been both fun and stressful. I tossed my maternity clothes **sniff , sniff** and a bunch of Simon's baby toys. We've also gotten rid of some of the clutter around the house and placed a lot of things in our storage unit (thank goodness for that). DH and I disagree about the fate of DS's crib bedding: he says toss/donate it, I say sell it on Ebay. We'll revisit the issue on Moving Day, I'm sure. I don't know why it's so hard to separate from our possessions. Maybe it's because we have to admit that things change and our babies grow up.

I just save most of the "special stuff" for more kids/ grandkids to have someday. I have personally enjoyed putting my girls in clothes my mom put all of us girls in as babies! SO I save some for my grandbabies.
Other than that I donate. If I know someone it goes there, if not it probably ends up at our local charity.
