to my readers (are there any out there, LOL?). We moved this past weekend and still have no internet connection -- or rather, we HAVE a connection, just no software or modem to process it -- thank you very little Verizon DSL. =\ Regardless, I probably wouldn't have had time to post anyway seeing as we're completely unpacked already (yay DH!).
Simon is adjusting faster than I thought he would (although it's still never fast enough). He had trouble falling asleep at first, ending up asleep on the floor at the gate to his new room. =( But just last night he fell asleep IN bed for the first time since Friday. Staying asleep is still an issue, but it was an issue before the move so I doubt it's related. We think he may need to have a shorter nap in order to sleep longer in the morning...but that's just speculation. He loves looking out the windows (the sills are very low and he can climb up on them) onto the river below.
DH just found out he's been accepted into a Master's program at the university so Simon will be returning to daycare in January. I have to work on getting him a spot somewhere...NOT something I'm looking forward to, especially with the holidays coming fast and furious.
Speaking of Christmas...I have it on good authority that Santa is bringing Simon 'Dusty the Vacuum'. I can't wait to see the look on his face when it TALKS to him! =D
