Back to *school* {Post should be for 12/16}

I know lots of people and their kids are getting ready for some time off but we're preparing DS for daycare. I'm having mixed feelings over it but I know it's for the best. Short version: he was in 2 different daycares between 7wks and 8mos (I had a job change) and has stayed at home with my husband for the last year. DH is going back to school in January so Simon is headed off to *school* as well.

We've checked into the new daycare (it's run by a friend's wife) and feel safe and secure with it. It's just that while Simon is a joy to be around, he can be a wee bit tempermental...I suppose they (toddlers) are all like that, huh? Please, tell me they're all like that - even if it's a lie!

I know that he'll love being with the other kids. He absolutely adores the two tots that he sees once a week now. And it'll be good for my DH (not to mention his career, and by extension, our bank account) to have non-baby time. But I'm nervous about how the staff will react to him. I mean, how often do they get kids mid-stream? I hope they *get* him pretty quick. He can be a real charmer. =D

----> Just a plug for my Christmas tree. ;)

This is no lie!

They are all like that to some extent.... tempermantal that is. My six year old is going through a new phase of tempermental, it is nothing like the toddler years, but it is there again.
My son and Simon are close in age, and he, right now - most of the time, is just a sweetie! But those other times he's really got a temper! If they have a day care, chances are they are ready for him!

I hope it goes well.
